A memorial sign in honor of the liberators of the city
The monument was erected in honor of the soldiers of the 93rd and 373rd Rifle Divisions, who liberated the city from the Nazi occupiers in September 1943 and later received the title "Myrhorod Rifle Division". From the outside, it is a four-sided obelisk made of marble chips, cut at a height of 11 meters. The sculptor is L.P. Statkevich.
The monument was inaugurated on September 18, 1968, on the day of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the liberation of Myrhorod.
