The Myrhorod Museum of Local Lore named after Opanas Slastyon is one of the oldest museums of the Poltava Region, created in 1920 on the initiative of the art critic and artist Opanas Slastyon.
Today it is one of the important research centers of regional local history. The museum's funds include more than 15,000 exhibits, including collections of numismatics, paintings and graphics, embroidery, ceramics, Easter eggs, everyday life, and ethnography.
